The Asda Foundation Yorkshire Marathon Festival Travel 2019

To help make your journey to the start line as stress-free and as simple as possible, we are pleased to offer a choice of travel arrangements for event day:

Park & Run (Green Route)

A Park & Run service transferring runners and non-runners from Elvington Airfield* (off the A64 at Grimston Bar) to the Event Village (University of York - Campus South) and back. Tickets MUST be booked in advance – cars can park for free and return coach transport is £7 per person. Runners will be given priority on services before 8.30am.

Spectator Bus Service (Blue Route)

A specific service taking spectators from the Event Village to marathon spectator areas at Stamford Bridge and Dunnington. Tickets are £5 per person and allow holders to hop-on and hop-off at their leisure.

Gold Route

The Gold ticket allows travel on both, Green & Blue routes as well as the regular marathon city centre 'express' shuttle bus services from York Railway Station (city wall side, Stand J) to the University of York. Gold tickets allow unlimited travel across all 3 routes but MUST be booked in advance with tickets priced at £12 per person. A family gold ticket (2 adults, 2 children aged 5 to 16 years) is also available for £40.
